Welcome to a guest lecture with Adam Zamoyski, British historian, and renowned expert in modern European history
Adam Zamoyski is a well-know best selling British historian who has written several very important books on European history, as for instance: 1812. Napoleon’s Fatal March on Moscow (2004), and its sequel Rites of Peace. The Fall of Napoleon and the Congress of Vienna (2007). Other acclaimed works on European history are Warsaw 1920: Lenin's Failed Conquest of Europe Poland (2008), Poland. A History (2009), Phantom Terror: The Threat of Revolution and the Repression of Liberty 1789–1848 (2014),and Napoleon. The Man Behind the Myth (2018). Zamoyski is an expert not only in French and more generally in European modern history but also in Polish which gives him unique insights into European history. Zamoyski lectures widely in England, Europe and the United States, and his books and articles have been translated into more than a dozen languages.
