Information for incoming exchange students

Hej!

Are you interested in doing an exchange at Lund University? Then you have come to the right place to find out more about the application process, your studies, all practical matters and what you can do during your time in Lund. 

 

In order to come to Lund as an exchange student, your home university must have a formal agreement for exchange studies with Lund University. The agreement can be specific to a faculty or department or it can be a university-wide agreement. Check with the International Office at your university to see if there is an agreement with Lund University.

1. Nominated by your home university March/September

2. Apply officially through SoleMove April/October

3. Send in your Learning Agreement (if applicable), apply for resident permit (if applicable), search for housing (including a separate application to LU Accommodation) May/November

4. Learn which courses you have been admitted into and check if your schedule will work, and join StudentLund June/December

5. Arrive on Arrival Day, go to the Pre-Registration meeting, register for your courses, join the Orientation Weeks August/January

6. Study! Have fun!

7. Download your Official Transcript of Records from Ladok (available months after your exchange have officially ended)
