Course
Course 7.5 credits • SASH73
Man has existed for 200 000 years, a rather short period in the history of life. In this time span she emerged from Africa and since colonised a large part of the planet. Human history is characterised by important transitions such as the introduction of agriculture, urbanisation and industrialisation. These processes have led to changes in diet, health, and population density. In this course we follow these changes and study how they can be traced archaeologically and how bones from both animals and humans can support these shifts.
