This second level course introudces newer research perspectives on Media history and includes two thematic modules and a thesis course.
In the first thematic module we discuss the most important currents of development in journalism history as well as central concepts relating to them. The other one analysis the most vital currents of develipment relating to social media, as well as central concepts within those currents. The fourth and final module includes methodological issues and ends with supervised thesis work.

Eligibility:
To be admitted to the course, students must have completed and passed Media History: Level 1 (MHIA11) or the equivalent in another humanities/social sciences subject.
