LCM: Advanced Russian Literary Studies
The student selects three to four periods in the history of Russian literature for individual study. The selection is made from the following periods: The Enlightenment (the 18th century), The Golden Age of poetry (1800-1830), Realist Prose (1830-1890), Modernism (1890-1917), Literature and its Status under Soviet Rule (1917-1985), Literature after the collapse of the Soviet Union. Drama and film can be studied within the frames of the course.
The course is included in the Master of Arts Programme in Literature – Culture – Media with a specialisation in Russian Literature. It is also offered as a single course.

Eligibility:
To be admitted to the course, the student must have 90 credits in Russian or have acquired the equivalent knowledge, as well as have completed studies in English equivalent to English B/English 6.
