Thesis course for the Master's Program in East and Central European Studies
This course entails independent work where you, on your own, design and conduct a scientific investigation relevant to the field of East and Central European Studies from an interdisciplinary perspective that integrates humanistic and social science theories and methods. You must independently define a research problem, choose an appropriate method, analyse extensive theoretical and empirical material, including materials in one of the region's languages, and present the results in the form of a written text. The research process is carried out in consultation with a supervisor appointed by the institution. The supervisor's task is to provide constructive feedback on your research structure. However, the responsibility for both the execution and the final thesis lies with you as the author.
